Alec Diaz
i. Now
Founding engineer at Originations Juice, an AI-native fintech.
I took the product from 0 to 1, using coding agents for almost everything. Most of my day is spent directing agents rather than typing into an editor.
- Turning vague asks into features, shipping nearly every day
- Setting roadmap and platform decisions directly with the CEO
- Using agents to ideate, design, spec, then implement features
- Building the product's AI assistant, tools, and MCP server
ii. mise
Building mise — the only link an audio engineer needs to send a client.
As a freelance audio engineer, I got tired of hunting for client files, losing track of revisions, and chasing unpaid invoices. So I built mise: it carries a project from the client's first upload through revisions, delivery, and payment.
- Auto-categorizes a folder of raw tracks into named, grouped busses
- Exports a real DAW session ready to work in
- Lossless playback and easy A/B comparison between revisions
- Timestamped comments, comment threads, and the ability to resolve them
- Invoicing through Stripe
iii. niko rain
Grew a music project from zero to 750,000 monthly listeners.
My partner and I started niko rain in 2020 and ran it like a startup. I produced, recorded, and mixed our songs. I also ran operations and social media. We independently released 20+ tracks.
- 0 → 750K
- monthly listeners, 2020–2025
- 60,000,000+
- streams across songs I worked on
